
This fund is operated by Newfoundland and Labrador Emissions Reductions – a registered charity with the mission to advance education by conducting and/or funding research related to challenges associated with, and possible solutions to, reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Newfoundland and Labrador, and to disseminate the results of such research to the public.
The objective of the fund is to de-risk and accelerate Newfoundland and Labrador’s pursuit of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050.
Corporations, foundations, governments, and individuals can contribute to Newfoundland and Labrador Emissions Reductions and receive a tax receipt. Donations can be made securely by clicking the button below. Those wishing to make larger contributions are encouraged to contact us directly.
Eligible projects are those that engage in research related to challenges associated with, and possible solutions to, reducing GHGs in Newfoundland and Labrador. Possible projects could include:
