INVESTING IN A NET ZERO FUTURE
The Newfoundland and Labrador Emissions Reduction Fund (NLERF) was created by econext to support the research, development, and deployment of emissions reductions technologies. The NLERF is composed of two programs which together are driving clean technology innovation and deployment in Newfoundland and Labrador.
This fund has been authorized by Environment and Climate Change Canada as a compliance mechanism under Canada’s Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR). Contributions made to this fund, managed by econext, are re-invested into projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Canada.

This fund is managed by a registered charity with support from econext. Donations made to this charity are reinvested into research activities that drive Newfoundland and Labrador’s pursuit of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050. Donors to this fund are eligible to receive a tax receipt.
